Addicted To Periscope

So I have recently discovered periscope. It is so addictive and so many different things on there to watch. From life coaches craft lessons to make up tutorials and more.

I am going to start broadcasting very soon might even pluck up the courage and do one today! I podcast on YouTube but that can be edited and isn’t live!! A lot of people have told me the longer you leave it and worry about it the worst it will be.

I have had lots of help so far on there with planning diary for work. This is why I am now blogging again. I have made time in my diary to make sure it gets done.

If you aren’t on periscope you should be! If so then add me and I will check out your scopes I am @peggymay_ same as on Twitter

Happy new year

Today is the 1st January 2015 the stet of a fresh new year. I love the first day of the year time to make plans and changes for the better.

I am spinning some beautiful fibre from hilltopcloud at the moment with my drop spindle from spin city UK. It’s very relaxing and a dream to work with. I am determined this year to do more spinning so watch this space.

Loving my candles at the moment especially this one that my sister bought me for xmas. It’s actually a tea light holder and the buttons really shine through. She knows me very well.

A lot of things for me are changing this year for the better. I am finishing my professional life course and counselling course as I believe I can help others some how with this skill.

What will be changing for you all this year?

New year time

So yes it is New Year’s Eve again. I can’t say I won’t be happy 2014 is over. It’s been a strange year full of ups and downs and I will be glad to start a fresh.

The whole house has been unwell recently so a fresh start is definitely what we need.

2014 was a good year in some ways it’s not all bad. I’m so lucky to connect with someone again that I has missed for over two years. We also moved into our lovely home. We got our little dog Rolo too. I also decided to home educate my two sons.

The next year is going to be about doing what I love and progressing with my hand dyed yarn business and social media and virtual assistant business.

I’m very proud of my eldest son and his YouTube career too.

I hope you all have a great new year and I’m not going to put resolutions on here as I am just happy for a fresh new start.

Lush haul

I was lucky enough to receive a box full of lush goodies recently. So perfect time to do a haul. We don’t live very close to a lush store so was lovely to receive this.

I had the wizard bath bomb, the pumpkin bath bomb, Lord of Misrule bath bomb, yellow sparkler and snow glitter.

I must admit the glitter you put on after a bath wasn’t for me so I gave this to my nieces. It was a citrus smell and I didn’t like the glitter as I got out of the bath. Good for a night out I think.

The pumpkin one was fab and was used on halloween night even my 8 year old liked this one.

The wizard one was cool but not as many bright colours as I expected.

Lord of Misrule well what can I say! It turned the bath black! Then it started cracking very clever. My son had a bath in this one as he thought it looked awesome.

The yellow sparkler was great and gave the bath a lovely colour and smelt amazing. Loved the sparkles in this one too.

Will definitely be ordering more lush. What’s your favourite one? Let me know in the comments.

New autumn/winter collection

Once again we had a great autumn/winter collection. I included a number of new designs including the brown tweed scarf, slouch hat, arm warmers and the scarf with the pockets.

The designs have been so popular so far and bloggers especially have seemed to love it. It all makes it worth while the hours and hours of planning the designs hand knitting them all, yes I said HAND knitting them, no machines used here!

I would like to give a massive thanks to the great models I used this time and James Neale of James Neale photography for another great shoot.

Now time to plan for the next one ……

Check it all out here Peggy May

It’s almost Halloween!

The last few weeks have been so hectic! Time flies as it’s almost Halloween.

I’ve been knitting loads and using my favourite Starbucks cup to provide me with my daily dose of coffee to keep me going.

I also received my parcel from the lovely miss Elle knits from ravelry as part of a swap we did. She got me everything I love. The little doll sits on my desk in my room.

I’ve also been working on orders for some celeb clients including Laura Whitfield and josh Bennett of seven dwarves fame. They are so lovely and it’s been a pleasure working with them.

I have also just finished a beautiful infinity scarf in cranberry for miss budget beauty. She is also lovely as you should all check out her blog and YouTube channels.

My autumn/winter 2014 photo shoot is complete and the next post will have pics of all the designs.

Keep warm everyone

Time to feel better

So the sickness bugs have hit the house. I’m hoping it will not be the first of many.

The book I’m currently reading is fault in our stars by John green thank you to my niece Heidi for lending it to me. Not reading it as quick as I hoped because of the sickness but what I have so far it’s been great! I can see why it got such good reviews. I want to read gone girl next that also looks great and I’ve seen the film is coming out for it too.

I had rolo the puppy looking after me while I was poorly he couldn’t understand why I couldn’t go on our daily walks together.

I started to feel better about a week ago but been making a conscious effort of eating better. Natural yoghurt granola and grapes are my favourite at the moment.

Hope you are all well fit and healthy. I plan to start vlogging in October over on YouTube so hope you will all watch me over there too.
